How We Conduct Business

The Company operates as a credit broker on a whole-of-market basis. We are not tied to any lender and recommend the most appropriate and cost-effective financial products based on each client’s declared needs and circumstances.

Our Duty of Care and Treating Customers Fairly

All recommendations are based on the best and most appropriate solution for the client. We request fact-finding information covering financial means, asset and liability position, credit status, and general profile. All such information is treated as confidential and handled in accordance with data protection law.

Debt Serviceability, Vulnerable Clients, and Client Risks

We take all reasonable steps to ensure that any product recommended is adequately affordable to the client. We identify vulnerable clients who may not fully understand the terms of any financial service being requested, and advise accordingly. All clients are advised of the risks associated with secured borrowing.

Credit Profile Searches

Where a lender requires a formal credit search, the Company will always seek the client’s prior approval before any search is carried out.

Services Provided Without Charge or Obligation

A minimum of one free consultation is provided to all clients, by telephone or in person. Following this, the Company will provide a summary report containing a recommended Agreement in Principle (AIP) and a Funding Services Agreement (FSA) setting out the terms of engagement and any fees.

There is no obligation to accept any recommendation. No charges are applied until the client instructs the Company to proceed by signing the FSA.

Commissions and Fees

The Company or its case packager may receive commissions from lenders. Any such commission will be fully disclosed to the client. Broker fees charged directly to the client will be clearly stated in advance and are payable only on successful conclusion of the transaction — defined as delivery of a formal funding offer from a recommended lender.

Case Packaging and Locum Services

The Company uses the case packaging and locum support services of its FCA principal firm, White Rose Finance Group Ltd, for preparation and submission of lender applications and continuity of service.

Complaints

Any complaint should be sent by recorded delivery to the Managing Director at the registered address above. All complaints will be acknowledged within five business days and handled by the Managing Director or a nominated senior member of staff. Every effort will be made to resolve complaints promptly and to the client’s full satisfaction.

For the full complaints procedure including escalation to the Financial Ombudsman Service, see our Complaints page.
